What We Do

Capability Development

Developing specific skills and competencies, or encouraging certain behaviours, is key to implementing change and/or improving the performance of existing businesses.

Our approach to capability development begins at a strategic level: we need firstly to understand the requirements, assess the current state, engage with key stakeholders and develop a plan. We can help define the competencies that staff need in order to perform in their jobs. Once competencies are set, a training architecture will provide a high-level design for the capability development programme that links specific training material to competencies and audiences. It is driven by a future vision:

We have extensive experience of converting functional or operational knowledge into training materials that meet objectives. We use our communications and engagement skills to create materials that incorporate our knowledge of individual communication styles and thinking patterns. The result is pragmatic and unique materials that work.

We provide necessary support to deliver the training and maintain the currency of materials. We are experienced in designing the overall flow of a programme and facilitating training events in order that individual modules work together and the learning activities are met effectively.

Feedback is essential to evolve any training material and we support our clients by collecting and processing feedback, and updating materials for subsequent sessions. Ongoing maintenance is essential: nothing is more frustrating than participating in training that uses dated material. We efficiently keep materials up-to-date and modify exercises and case studies to ensure their continued relevancy.
