Our Associates : Roger Cartwright
Roger Cartwright is a communications and external affairs professional with many years corporate experience in multiple geographies. Roger has extensive experience managing external affairs in Latin America and the Caribbean, latterly as Regional Co-ordinator, with specific experience of crisis management, press and media relations, community engagement, issue management and NGO relationship management. He is also highly experienced in reputation planning, strategy and management.
Prior to consulting, Roger worked with Bell Pottinger, focusing on strategic communications and reputation management for commercial, political and government clients. He worked for BP for 37 years’ in international marketing, aviation sales, oil trading, LPG and LNG business development. He has worked throughout Europe and in the Middle East, Japan, South Korea and China. Roger is a board member of Canning House and was a founder member of the board of British and Colombia Chamber of Commerce. He writes for Oxford Analytica on Venezuela and Colombia. In 2000, he was awarded an MBE for services to exports.
