Our Associates : Paul Templeman
Paul Templeman's background is in the global energy business where he worked on board-level corporate strategy and business development in emerging markets.
He has significant international experience having worked throughout Europe and for extended periods in the Middle East and Asia. His responsibilities have included the strategy for a new market entry into India and defining a manufacturing and marketing strategy for TNK-BP in Russia. Paul worked for 22 years with BP in a variety of commercial management roles and as a Strategy Manager in the Corporate Centre.
Paul's most recent role within BP was as Strategy Manager for the BP Lubricant's Supply Chain responsible for reviewing existing operations and developing new improvement options. Paul's recommendations are built upon the experience of having managed a complex business unit, spread across a number of countries, that involved manufacturing, supply and marketing. He understands the need for practical solutions.
Paul also has significant project management experience gained through delivering a number of global and multi-national projects that required co-ordination of teams over whom he had no line-authority. His facilitation, influencing, organisational and communication skills have been well-practiced.
