Our Associates : Dilys Taylor
Dilys Taylor is a communications expert who has twenty years experience working in both private and public sectors. She has been working as an independent consultant for the last few years most notably for Transco, where she was Acting Head of Corporate Affairs, and with the UK's National Lottery Commission.
She has worked with governments on communication and public awareness campaigns (including privatisations) and in government information work. From 1989-98, Dilys was Head of External Relations at the Office of Water Services (OFWAT); in this role she had a wide range of responsibilities that included advising the Director General, acting as chief spokesperson, speech writing and advising on presentational issues, and building relationships with key opinion formers. As a result of Dilys's success in this role, she was awarded the OBE in June 1999.
